Project Introduction:
The gymnasium of Hefei 168 Middle School has one underground floor, two above ground floors, partial mezzanines, and a symmetrical octagonal plan. After adopting seismic isolation technology, the inter story shear force of the structure is greatly reduced, and the seismic response of the upper structure can be reduced by one degree. That is, the seismic design of the upper structure is based on 7 degrees of seismic action, which is the first project in Anhui to adopt seismic isolation technology.
