On August 22nd, the Tanzania National Highways Authority issued a letter of acceptance, confirming that the 116 kilometer road construction project, undertaken by Anhui Province enterprise Zhongan Huali in China, has officially landed. The contract amount of this project is approximately RMB 537 million, which is another major infrastructure project participated by Chinese enterprises after the local BRT project.
In this international bidding process, Zhong'an Huali was recognized for its past experience in international engineering and standardized project management capabilities. Previously, the Tanzanian side also sent representatives to China to conduct on-site inspections of relevant projects and gave a positive evaluation of the company's ability to fulfill its obligations. In the end, the company successfully won the bid, reflecting the competitiveness of China's construction forces in the African market.
The 116 kilometer road project will not only improve Tanzania's transportation conditions and enhance regional connectivity, but also inject lasting momentum into the economic development along the route. This achievement reflects the pragmatic progress of China Africa cooperation and common development. In the future, with the promotion of more infrastructure projects, China Africa cooperation will release its development potential in a larger scope and jointly contribute to the construction of the "the Belt and Road" and sustainable development in Africa.
