Wu Yongchang, Deputy General Manager and Economist of PowerChina Kunming Engineering Corporation Limited (PowerChina Kunming), and his delegation visited Zhong’an Huali. During the forum, Wu Yongchang elaborated on PowerChina Kunming’s business layout and technical strengths in water conservancy and hydropower, new energy, ecological environment and other sectors. He noted that the institute has long been engaged in comprehensive water resource utilization, pumped storage power stations, integrated wind‑solar‑storage projects and accumulated extensive experience. He stated that Zhong’an Huali boasts solid strengths in engineering construction and project investment, with strong business complementarity and broad cooperation prospects between the two parties. Taking this exchange as an opportunity, he hoped both sides would strengthen strategic alignment in water conservancy infrastructure and clean energy development, innovate cooperation models, and jointly serve the national carbon peaking and carbon neutrality strategy as well as regional economic and social development.

Chang Qiancang extended a warm welcome to Wu Yongchang and his team. He remarked that as a central enterprise national team, PowerChina Kunming features robust technical strength and abundant industrial experience. Amid current policy opportunities for water conservancy construction and new energy development, in‑depth cooperation between the two sides in watershed governance, water environment improvement, photovoltaic and wind power sectors not only aligns with national strategic orientation but also conforms to the long‑term development direction of both enterprises. Chang Qiancang emphasized that Zhong’an Huali will leverage its advantages in localized construction and resource integration to promote efficient synergy between both sides in technology, capital and management, accelerate project implementation at an early date, and achieve win‑win results.

The forum deepened mutual understanding and clarified cooperation directions. Both sides agreed to establish a regular communication mechanism, conduct targeted docking focusing on key regions and projects, strive to deliver substantive cooperation outcomes as soon as possible, and jointly contribute to the high‑quality development of water conservancy and new energy industries.
