Recently, Wang Weimin, General Manager of the International Business Department of Zhong’an Huali Construction Group, led a team on an on‑site inspection tour and work guidance mission in Tanzania. Focusing on two key ongoing projects—the 116‑kilometer Highway Project and Section 2 of Phase III of the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) Project—the team coordinated efforts to boost the quality and speed of project construction, deepen multi‑party cooperation between government and enterprises as well as among enterprises, comprehensively planned the in‑depth layout of overseas businesses, and helped solidify the Group’s international development strategy.

During their stay in Tanzania, Wang Weimin and his team paid courtesy calls on senior government officials and competent authorities, including the Minister of Works of Tanzania, the Deputy Director‑General in Charge of Engineering of the National Roads Agency, relevant department heads of the National Roads Agency, and the Director of the Local Roads Agency. During the meetings, Wang Weimin elaborated on the current construction progress, construction plans of the Group’s two major projects (the 116‑kilometer Highway Project and Section 2 of Phase III of the BRT Project), as well as the future business layout in Tanzania. He conveyed the Group’s firm commitment to taking root locally and deepening its presence in the African market, and stated that the Group would continue to leverage its advantages in infrastructure construction to help Tanzania improve its transportation network, boost local economic and social development, and strengthen practical China‑Tanzania cooperation in infrastructure.

In addition, Wang Weimin visited Hongwang Group, China Railway No.7 Engineering Bureau, and local resource partners. In‑depth exchanges were carried out on project resource coordination, cross‑enterprise coordination mechanisms, and localized supporting construction, to build consensus on cooperation and strengthen regional industrial linkages. Meanwhile, the team conducted thorough research on the local infrastructure supporting market, fully assessed industry trends and local resource endowments, consolidated the foundation for the Group’s deep regional expansion and diversified business layout in Tanzania, and planned for the long‑term high‑quality development of overseas businesses.

For the construction of the two key projects, Wang Weimin presided over a multi‑party coordination meeting with supervision institutes, design institutes and the project department. He coordinated to optimize design schemes, refine construction organization plans, accelerate drawing review progress, promote the upgrading of construction technologies, and advance key support work such as cross‑border customs clearance of equipment and materials. He required all staff of the project department to stay goal‑oriented, unite as one, overcome difficulties, strictly abide by contract performance standards, strictly control project quality and safety, strive to build high‑quality benchmark projects, and continuously enhance the premium brand image of Huali in infrastructure construction.
