On October 10, 2019, the 18th China Housing Expo · 5th "Science and Technology Innovation Cup" China BIM Excellent Case Works Competition, hosted by China Building Information Modeling Technology Innovation Alliance, China Association for the Promotion of Science and Technology Industrialization, and Zhejiang Building Information Modeling (BIM) Service Center, was held in Beijing. The "Nanyanhu National Fitness Center Project" declared by the Group's Science and Technology Development Department won the second prize for Best BIM Construction Application in the 5th "Science and Technology Innovation Cup" BIM Competition.

Nearly a thousand design, construction general contracting, higher education institutions, and professional consulting companies from all over the country participated in this competition. Each participating company has rich experience in BIM technology, and their entries cover various stages of BIM application. Among them, there are 530 projects in the special group, with 21 first prizes and 42 second prizes.

The Hefei Nanyan Lake Fitness Center project, undertaken by the group, is a comprehensive sports venue with complex structures, multiple basement floor areas, intricate mechanical and electrical pipelines, high clearance requirements, and difficult pipeline construction. In the early stage of construction, with strong support from the group, the project department used BIM technology to plan and arrange in advance, reducing material transportation and secondary handling costs. Based on the design drawings, three-dimensional models of various specialties such as civil engineering and mechanical and electrical engineering were established. Through collision checks, drawing problems were discovered and engineering design was optimized. Since the start of the project, the project department has relied on BIM technology to guide on-site construction, successfully solving construction difficulties such as construction organization design, civil engineering, pipelines, and fine decoration. Significant achievements have been made in cost savings, schedule savings, quality and safety management, and brand building.

In recent years, the group has actively explored the application of BIM throughout the entire construction process, effectively integrating BIM technology, drones GIS、 Video surveillance and smart construction sites have effectively integrated new management models and concepts into engineering construction, safety, quality, and schedule management in projects such as the Nanyanhu National Fitness Center, Talent Apartment Project, and Intelligent Equipment Park. They are brave enough to try the combination of BIM and new technology, use BIM technology to improve on-site construction management level, and are committed to creating a demonstration project for smart construction sites. Winning the second prize of National BIM Technology this time reflects the group's strength in innovation leadership and technological breakthroughs. Next, the group will continue to explore the application points of BIM technology in projects, continuously promote the application of BIM technology, and achieve the perfect integration of BIM technology and project management.
