On the morning of March 15th, Xie Jun, Deputy Secretary-General of the Hefei Municipal Government, along with the responsible persons from the Municipal Education Bureau, Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism, Municipal Finance Bureau, the responsible person from the Baohe District Government, and the heads of education and cultural departments, visited the site of the Hefei Shanghai World Foreign Language School project undertaken by Huali Construction Group Co., Ltd. to conduct research and provide guidance on the construction work. Guo Qirong, Chairman of Hefei Baohe Wenguang Investment Co., Ltd., Wang Liang, General Manager of Huali Construction Group, Zhang Rensuo, head of the project department, and the heads of relevant departments participated in the reception.

Hefei Shanghai World Foreign Language School is located in the Binhu New District of Hefei, south of Jinxiu Avenue and east of Heilongjiang Road. It is invested and constructed by Hefei Baohe Wenguang Investment Co., Ltd., geologically surveyed by Hefei Building Materials Geological Engineering Survey Institute, designed by China Railway Hefei Construction and Municipal Engineering Design and Research Institute Co., Ltd., supervised by Hefei Engineering Construction Supervision Co., Ltd., and constructed by Anhui Huali Construction Group Co., Ltd.

The total construction area of this project is approximately 73,000 square meters, including about 50,000 square meters above ground and about 23,000 square meters underground. It mainly comprises the main structures, decoration, and outdoor ancillary works of kindergarten, primary school, teaching building (junior high school and high school), dormitory building, art building, administrative building, training center, large-span steel structure corridor, large-span steel reinforced concrete beam-column basement (including underground parking lot, indoor swimming pool, storm-proof playground, canteen, civil air defense area), etc.

Hefei Shanghai World Foreign Language School adopts a "bilingual curriculum" educational model from primary school to high school, making it a "one-stop" school with "international characteristics". Its establishment will undoubtedly enhance the cultural taste and internationalization level of the surrounding area and even the entire Binhu District, promoting the improvement of local education in Hefei.
